Palazzo d'Accursio - Farnese Chapel - Bologna 1 October 2016 A recognition to extraordinary people who have particularly distinguished themselves in the defense of human rights and the protection of the common good. The 2016 international Daniele Po award, the year of its tenth edition, was based on a very important motivation: attention and respect for the land in which we live. Cappella Farnese of Palazzo d'Accursio in Bologna hosted the awards ceremony during which two awards were given: to the Madri della Terra dei Fuochi of the non-profit association “We parents of everyone " and to Ati Quigua, a charismatic Arhuaca indigenous Colombian environmentalist and pacifist leader.
