ROMANIA | Water is a precious commodity

Our first intervention started from a fundamental right: the Right to Water.

Water is life, but having access to it is not always a given, even in Europe. We are in Romania in a small community towards the east where material poverty bites in the calves as much as educational and health poverty.

A single mother and two daughters, a humble and decadent house without any connection to public water which must be carried on the shoulder from a distant well and winter is no joke here.

Water connection and canalization works were carried out to make the family independent, new fixtures were purchased and installed and new wood stoves were purchased.

Intervention carried out together with Le Case degli Angeli di Daniele Onlus and Voluntariat pentru Viata history and future of humanity and solidarity.

Our story of what we have done and what we will do begins with this Report, because in the simplicity of a right taken for granted inequalities can be hidden against which we have decided to do our part.
